Our launch event on 24th February 2016 was a celebration of everything good about Burscough Community Farm CIC. BCF is about more than just growing vegetables . Our biggest asset is our people and the community around us. We showed that at the launch event with exhibitions and presentations highlighting all the different elements that go into making up the farms structure and how they all integrate to make a sustainable farm.
We had exhibitions about birds, bees, small mammals, allotments, and Permaculture. Our presentations covered all of those plus Health and Market Gardening.
It was a long day starting with Radio Interviews from BBC Radio Lancashire and BBC Radio Merseyside down at the farm.
