Jane and I really enjoyed delivering our ‘Cook and Eat’ session last night. It was the last stage of our ‘Food Champions’ training run by Kay Johnson of The Larder and Alison Watts of Preston Council. This puts us in the position to now run introductory cooking courses, something we hope to do at the farm in the future.
Alison Watts of Preston Council came along to check out how we ran the session and gave us the added bonus of presenting us with certificates for Level 2 Food Safety in Catering (QCF) and Level 2 Healthier Food and Special Diets (QCF).
Thanks to everyone who came along and gave us their support and feedback and a really big thanks to Sue Lamb of The Grove, what a real Community asset.
