Our car boot sale fund raising adventure yesterday went very well. We raised just over £240.00 which is going to be very helpful here on the farm. Once again, thanks to all of you who brought us your stuff, it went to good use and we will spend the money raised helping the farm.
The biggest thank you though should go out to those who spent their time collecting, sorting, organising, transporting, setting up, and haggling with customers. Steve, Gaynor, Bryan and Leanne did a great job yesterday and the money raised is a credit to them.
Without great volunteers Burscough Community Farm wouldn’t be what it is, a perfect place for people to reconnect with the land, meet other people and grow organic food. Through doing these things they learn about sustainability, nature and Permaculture. And they go home with something good, wholesome and tasty to put on their plate.
