Creative workshops at Burscough Community Farm
Spoon carving
This course takes you from cutting down a tree to going home with a finished wooden cooking spoon. We’ll start off in the willow woodland and cut down a tree. We’ll then cut it to length and cleave it down into a blank to carve a wooden cooking spoon or spatula.
This workshop is designed for complete beginners with all tools and materials provided.
Workshop fee £45.00
Christmas wreath making
Using our own farm-grown willow, you will learn how to make your own Christmas Wreaths. We have lots of our own homegrown materials around the farm that you can use to decorate your wreaths with and you can also bring your own materials.
This workshop is designed for complete beginners. You will be taught how to make two different designs for you to take home.
Workshop fee £35.00
Because of Covid restrictions, we ask that you provide your own lunch and bring your own cup. Tea, coffee and milk will be provided.
