Description
What is Samhain?
Samhain (pronounced “sow-in”) is an ancient Celtic festival celebrated from the evening of 31 October to 1 November, marking the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter. Traditionally, this was a time to honour ancestors, celebrate the bounty of the harvest, and prepare for the colder months ahead. The festival has deep roots in Pagan traditions but has evolved over time, influencing other celebrations like Halloween. Today, Samhain is a time to connect with nature, reflect on the past year, and come together as a community.
Our Samhain Party is designed to bring these themes to life in a fun and inclusive way. This is not just for those with an interest in Pagan traditions—it’s for everyone who loves the idea of celebrating the cycles of nature and enjoying the company of friends and neighbours.
