Recorded on the final day of our latest Reboot Your Life course, Reboot Voices captures honest reflections from those who took part. It’s a simple, heartfelt film about nature, connection and finding your feet again — all set against the peaceful backdrop of the farm.

Every six weeks or so, a new group joins us at Burscough Community Farm for our Reboot Your Life course — a gentle, nature-based programme that helps people reconnect with the outdoors, rebuild confidence, and rediscover what makes them feel good again.

On the last day of our most recent course, we took a few moments to chat with some of the group about their experiences. What came out of those conversations was something honest, hopeful and deeply human — so we decided to turn it into a short film.

That film is called Reboot Voices.

It features snippets of conversation and reflection from those who took part, recorded outdoors on the farm among the trees and fields that have become such a big part of their stories.

“Getting away from there for me is like the best medicine you can have.”
“The fresh air on the farm changed my life.”
“It’s peaceful, it’s quiet, it’s nature… you can’t get better than that.”

Each voice tells its own story, but there’s a shared thread that runs through them all — the difference it makes to step outside, slow down, and be part of something real. Whether it’s through planting, crafting, walking, or simply talking, spending time here seems to help people find their spark again.

And as one person wisely put it:

“Don’t be afraid. I know you’re going to be apprehensive about coming into it, but just go with it. You’ll be surprised.”

We’re really proud of what everyone achieved on this course, and so grateful to those who agreed to be filmed. Reboot Voices isn’t a polished advert — it’s a genuine reflection of the people, atmosphere and everyday magic that happen here at the farm.

If you enjoyed Reboot Voices, please share it with others who might like to see what goes on here at the farm. Every time someone watches, shares or talks about our work, it helps more people discover what’s possible when community and nature come together.
